An International Quest to 'the ultimate art'
ArtinAnimation is a quest to find the art in popular animations, categorized in specific media. This non-profit project contains an exhibition, workshop and website.
Exhibition
Galerie De Meerse will host the ArtinAnimation exhibition from April 15th until May 15th 2006. The show exhibits the different elements of the art in animation (composition of images, rythm, sound, story, et cetera), orginal artwork, paintings, scetches, moving storyboards and of course animations.

To create a gateway to the best animations, everybody can place links on this website. Your fellow submitters can suggest, watch, vote, discuss and give other suggestions.
Promote yourself
The quest won't be easy. We are aware that we ask you to put a lot of effort in it, but if everybody does so, there will grow a unique Animation Portal where everybody can promote what they consider art or even the animations they make themselves. For instance, studios are also allowed to show what they've got and you might win a iPod video.
Downloadbles
Twice a week two animations will be downloadble. There won't be an archive... so if you miss it, you just have bad luck!
Articles, suggestions or idea's
You're welcome to send us articles, suggestions or idea's to publish@artinanimation.com. The articles will be placed on the site.
Workshop
In collaboration with ArtQuake, Lucky Dubz and Jasper Mittelmeijer known from Dutch Nickelodeon will teach and inspire students to create unique animations. Of course the animation will be available at this site.
